W Restaurant & Lounge in DuQuoin

We went for our tenth anniversary. We had a reservation and got there early and seated right away. The staff was friendly. The building and ambiance were great. Prime rib was all fat. The mashed potatoes were gross. There was no alcohol in our drinks. (kentucky mules). It was very pricey for the food we got. I won't reccomend this restaurant or be be going back. the water, portobello appetizers and salad were good though.

My husband and I enjoy going here when we don't want to leave town. The food is great and the drinks are too. I would recommend making a reservation on a Friday or Saturday night. Service is good. Ask for Jon to be your server.

I just want you to know that your place is GREAT. You have put a lot of hard work in rebuilding the place, 110% better then the place was before. Every time we have been there, there has been a crowd of people whether you have a band or not. All the food that we have eaten their has been tremendous and your servers are wonderful. You are doing a GREAT job.

5 different drinks we asked for they were out. The pears went cooked in the grilled cheese and the tables were to small for out food, water, and alcoholic drink. We had to move things to the bar.

We were driving around looking for a restaurant when we stumbled onto The W Restaurant. Very nice atmosphere with good food and exceptional service. We will return and we’ll bring people with us next time. They have horses too. We ordered steak with baked potatoe and salad. Top shelf margarita and manhattan for cocktails.I would have not thought such a good place in such a small town.

One of the best dining experiences I've experienced in southern Illinois. Jon and Jessica were extremely friendly and made our dinner great. Food and environment was amazing. Highly recommend this place all friends and family.

This place is amazing! The filet is to die for especially with the fresh herb butter that you can get on top of the steak or on the side. The Caesar salad is perfect and my daughter loves the grilled chicken breast over the pasta marinara. You have to get there when the special is mama's lasagna. It will melt in your mouth. The service is great and the décor of the place makes you feel like you are in a big city. Funny, but true, the bathroom is gorgeous! Real hand towels. This place cooks great food. Best restaurant in Du Quoin!

The W is a top notch restaurant! We had our wedding and reception in the outside area. Very beautifully decorated and perfect area for outside events. It is in a country setting with many different options of how you would want to plan your event. They are willing to work with you. The food and service was nothing but AMAZING! We will never forget that night it was perfect. We loved it! Thank you to the W and all the staff!

Just go, order the ribeye rare with chrem brulee. Both were positively orgasmic. Fantastic service and atmosphere.

Great food and atmosphere

Wow! Absolutely wow! I traveled from Union, Missouri to Du Quoin, Illinois to visit my sister before she moves to Virginia. She chose to have a gathering at The W as a farewell to all her friends in Du Quoin. The food was fabulous! You absolutely have to try the portobello mushrooms and the Asian wings! The service is amazing even with the restaurant practically at it’s maximum seating. Even when my sister moves to Virginia, I will definitely visit the W again! It is definitely worth the trip!Thank you everyone at the W for blessing my sister and her husband before they head east to continue their path set forth by our one true Lord, Jesus Christ!It was also so lovely meeting my pen pal from Du Quoin tonight for the very 1st time.I believe everyone tonight was truly blessed!Sincerely,Ruth Marie Hendru

The food was amazing. We started with appetizer ans ended with dessert. The really only one suggestion I would make is a little quicker service. Food came out great timer. It was just waiting to check out. We were there for 2 hours exactly. We will definitely go back very soon!!

My wife and I had dinner here for our fifteen year anniversary. The food was very tasty, and the service was fantastic. The W is a great restaurant right here close to home.

You'll never guess what you're about to walk into from the outside, don't judge a book by its cover because the meal we had was exceptional! Didn't hurt that it was on the company dime either.

Though they were a bit understaffed on this visit & therefore the food took longer than expected, they handled it like professionals and made us feel like valued guests while we waited. The food was delicious when it arrived, and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back!
